Privacy, in our own words
We built the separation in first, then wrote it down. WhatsInYourMeds stores the meds you add and the ingredients their FDA labels list, including the "inactive" ones, called excipients. It doesn't ask for your name. Here is the whole story:
Your med list is stored under a code, not your name. We don't collect your name at all, and your account email lives only with our sign-in provider — never in the database that holds your medications. If you join the waitlist, we use that email only to tell you when we launch. We never link it to a med list, and we delete it after the launch email. No ad trackers, no data sales, ever, and you can delete your meds and your account with one tap.
What we deliberately don't have
-
Your name
We never ask for it.
-
Your email, next to your meds
We don't copy your sign-in email into our database. Our sign-in provider holds it and gives us a code for your account.
Deleting your data
You can delete your meds and your account from your account settings. You don't need to email support.
In the app, open Me and choose “Delete my meds and my account”. We ask you to confirm first.
A copy your care team has opened belongs to them. Deleting your account doesn't delete it. Removing a single medicine leaves its label-update history until you delete your account.
The formal policies
The whole story above is the plain version. These are the formal documents:

Got it. We'll email you when WhatsInYourMeds launches.
We couldn't reach our server just now, so your email app should have opened with a note pre-filled. Press send there, or write to hello@exciiq.com directly.
